SUMMARY:Monthly Meeting - Matt Petrie workshop leader
DESCRIPTION:Matt Petrie grew up in the Boston area in a Cape Breton family. He and his brother were regular attendees of the early Fiddle Club as teenagers. Later Matt taught fiddle and performed regularly at the Canadian American Club and since has spent most of his life exploring the music both as a fiddler and a piper.\n\n\nTwo workshops:\n2:00 – 3:00PM – Workshop (Beginner/ Intermediate)\n3:00 – 3:30 – Break / Social\n3:30 – 4:30 – Workshop (Int./ Advanced).\n\n\n** Covid Protocol:  Please check the home page for current requirements.\n\n\nFree to Boston Scottish Fiddle Club\, non-members pay $15 drop-in fee.  Join at the meeting if you want.\n\n\nMembers have access to sheet music and instructor recordings of tunes taught at the workshops.  Plus\, Members have access to the past 30 months of online Workshop recordings & sheet music via the Members-Only portion of the website.\nAnnual memberships for 2022/23: $70 Individual\, $120 Family\, $35 Youth (25 & under)\, good through August 2023.\n\nTo join the fiddle club go here.\n\nFor more info about the workshops\, go here.
